book partyPicture an 11-year-old girl with pen in hand, spiral notebook in her lap. That was me, back in the beginning: a shy little girl with glasses who wanted more stories about her favorite characters…so she wrote them.

And nothing ever really changes.

Throughout my life, I’ve been fascinated with stories of other worlds and other possibilities, beginning with The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Time Tunnel, and other genre TV shows of the 1960s, Superman and Batman comics, and books about the end of civilization, outer space, and lots of creepy-crawly stuff (ghosts, werewolves, vampires). So that’s what you’ll find here: science fiction, supernatural mystery, and paranormal romance.

You’ll discover as you read my work that whether the story involves a couple of investigative reporters digging into a series of mysterious drownings, a young girl who discovers that her colony’s alien “staff” is being mistreated and killed, or a frustrated woman who runs away from an abusive boyfriend only to fall in love with a werewolf, the core of my stories is always FAMILY, both the one we’re born with and the ones we build for ourselves.

I was a secretary for 38 years. Now I’m a full-time writer. I work on a laptop, but at heart I’m still a kid with a pen and a spiral notebook who’s anxious to share her stories.

  1. Thank you for the lovely note! I’m so glad you enjoyed the books, and that they brought a smile to your day. Hearing things like that really brightens *my* day, and I appreciate that you took the time to write. 🙂

    1. You’re welcome Carol. I’m done with the series and I’ll do my best to give a proper review for each story. Just give me time to do so please. I’m looking forward as well to reading Love On the Rocks: Spring Break In Vegas soon.

Thank you too for your reply. 🙂
